Euroluce 2025 is the leading international lighting design fair, held every two years as part of Salone del Mobile in Milan. This year, from April 8 to 13, the event brought together more than 300 exhibitors from around the world, showcasing the latest innovations in lighting for interiors, exteriors, industrial, and specialized spaces.
We’re sharing with you the most interesting impressions and revealing the lighting trends that will shape our future projects in 2025.
Lighting Trends That Will Define 2025
Innovation and Technology
Euroluce 2025 highlighted cutting-edge technologies in lighting, including the integration of LED technology, smart systems, and software solutions. These innovations allow designers to create lighting concepts that are both energy-efficient and tailored to the needs of users.
Sculptural and Emotional Lighting
Lighting as an artistic element is no longer an exception but a standard. Particularly impressive were the exhibits by Davide Groppi, whose creations blurred the line between sculpture and light, leaving visitors in awe.
Sustainability
Sustainability was the central theme of the fair, focusing on the use of eco-friendly materials and technologies that reduce environmental impact. Many exhibitors showcased products that combine aesthetics with ecological responsibility. A notable example came from the Belgian brand Modular Lighting Instruments, which uses bio-resin in its reflectors.
The Culture of Light and Well-Being
For the first time, the Euroluce International Lighting Forum was organized — a two-day event that gathered experts from various fields to discuss the impact of light on human well-being and spatial perception. The forum included lectures, workshops, and panel discussions featuring renowned speakers from the worlds of design, science, and art.
Aesthetics and Atmosphere
There is an increasing focus on creating lighting atmospheres that mimic natural daylight. Fabrics, paper, frosted glass, and soft shapes contribute to a sense of warmth and comfort. The company Vibia presented the concept “Shaping Atmospheres”, exploring how light can sculpt the perception of space.
Highlights from Euroluce 2025
It’s hard to make a narrow selection from the many models showcased at this exhibition — each piece is breathtaking in its own way. We’ve highlighted four, and we encourage those interested to explore further.
- “Kushi XL” by Kundalini – a floor lamp with an organic form and diffused light, made from hand-blown glass.

- “Oblique Pro” by Flos – a task lamp featuring a minimalist form and maximum efficiency.

- “La Linea” by Artemide – a flexible light “tube” that can be seamlessly integrated into walls, ceilings, and furniture.

- “Moon” by Davide Groppi – a hanging sphere that emits a soft, warm light, designed to evoke the glow of moonlight. It appears almost ethereal.

Conclusion by the Architaur Team
As a studio that designs functional, aesthetically balanced, and emotionally warm spaces, Architaur uses lighting not just to illuminate but to shape atmosphere. The trends presented at Euroluce 2025 have shown that:
- light is becoming a material,
- lighting defines zones without walls,
- design and technology can—and must—be sustainable.
In the projects we’ll be realizing throughout 2025,you can expect the use of diffused lighting principles, modular lighting systems, and the integration of sculptural fixtures.
